Kanga Footy is a low contact “touch” version of the hugely popular national game of Australia – Australian Rules Football.

Open to mixed sexes of any age, ability and nationality. Teams on-field comprise of 7 players (5 guys and 2 girls) with any number of “subs” playing off the bench. This relatively new, fun and dynamic format of the game features all the skills and athleticism or normal AFL footy but a few subtle twists… just a touch can reward you a free-kick for “holding the ball”, marks ("catching the ball") can be paid for kicks of any distance even less than one metre…and goals (“6 pointer”) can only be scored from a marks by a nominated "forward". If a female forward converts the goal it is actually worth 9 points (not 6) – these are known as "Super-Goals"!

Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of it this summer with games and competitions running May-August. All our games are played on Wednesday nights 7-9pm on Clapham Common (between La Baita Café and Windmill Drive).
